I have had a fantastic experience throughout the development of this project. “Transition Matters” was focused on developing programmes and resources to help Neurodiverse students effectively transition into university life and learning. Having just finished my Coproduction role this week, it has been a pleasure to work with the Wellbeing and Learning Support departments to create a project which champions and empowers the voices of Neurodiverse students. I learnt how to develop, organize and lead a focus group session which has greatly improved my own confidence and understanding of how these events are facilitated and delivered. My primary takeaway and learning from this session was a sense that this project was directly helping to make a difference to the students who generously gave up their time to speak to us.
